Spring is about to Sproing
The daffodils are out in the garden and today we met friends at the park after school and the sun was shining! It got pretty cold pretty quickly but it really felt like Spring was truly on it’s way then we came home to see two big fat bumble bees bumbling around our upstairs window, what a beautiful sight.
I used to love Winter but since having Willow it’s not the same, we can’t get out like we could and there are colds and bugs everywhere which can be a lot more serious for Willow.
So for the second half of winter you’ll hear me say, “roll on Spring”. It’s not that I want to wish our lives away but life is so much more pleasant with disabled children in the warmer seasons.
There is a real Spring like shift in our lives at the moment, too, we are getting on top of the house a little, bit by bit, the building works to make our house more accessible are moving on and I’ve started a new club in the village for children with disabled siblings, called Little Sibs.
Now to start sowing some seeds and planning the veg garden!
