I’m sat waiting to go and get my baby from recovery, her surgery went well and she is now minus one nasalgastric tube!

It’s horrible not being with her and although it’s all been matter of fact for us, we’ve known this day would come for months and months, it’s what we wanted, now it’s done I feel like I could burst into tears, it’s the release I guess, done at last. Not sad tears at all, Mummy emotional tears (any Mama will know how they are).

Now to learn a new set of skills, on to the next chapter for our little family!

Here is our poppet heading off for surgery with the anaesthetist 🙂 I love that she was in arms and also that they wanted her hearing aids so that they could ease her around post surgery, it’s those little things that help.
