It’s been one week since the operation and the wound, although less red than two days ago, is leaking a lot, mostly clear fluid but some curdy milk and some yellow/white gunk coming from the site.

W’s reflux has increased but she’s so much more comfortable without the ng-tube! It’s clearly still a little painful too, I’m sure it will be for a while yet, but not having a tube up her nose and down her throat has also made a big difference to her nasal secretions which are dramatically decreased.&((
